April 12, 1912 is a wonderful first full day at sea for the Titanic, following her stop in Queenstown, Ireland the day before. The weather is calm and clear, and Titanic moves along at a good speed, settling comfortably into the rhythm of the voyage.
Passengers explore the ship’s many amenities, enjoy good meals, and socialize with fellow travelers. First-class passengers make use of the gymnasium and the reading and writing rooms, while second and third-class passengers enjoy their own lively, dedicated spaces.
That same evening intrepid gay time travelers Biff, Gil, and Chuck drop in, and the Titanic does not disappoint for a night of frivolity and fun.
Biff makes out with a dashing young officer near the grand staircase, Gil finds himself under the tablecloth between two wealthy gentlemen in first class, who insist on buying round after round while Gil works wonders below. Chuck, ever the social butterfly, made fast friends with a group of cheerful stokers fresh off their shift, and the group end up hooking up in one of the lounges.
Handsome men turn up everywhere that night — rich and poor, crew and passenger alike — and romantic liaisons abound as Biff, Gil, and Chuck make the most of every knowing glance.
The evening wound down with a riotous, no-holds-barred bacchanal in the Turkish bath, where men from first, second, and third class alike — married and single — mingle freely long into the night.
It is, by all accounts, a delightful evening of newfound pleasures Biff, Gil, and Chuck are happy to provide.
Go Gays!
