On a daily basis, millions of people move through the images, advertisements, and stories contained in social media, the feeds themselves becoming self-portraits of the viewers. In my own case, from that encounter, I gather grounds and figures to create collages that express a specifically queer point of view. And in these collages, I see both myself and the larger culture, revealed through what other people choose to make and to post. This is communion.
