Telling Stories

I built these collages around contrast.

Catastrophe next to nonchalance, spectacle next to indifference. That's the narrative move I care about most right now — not handing you one story to follow, but stacking enough conflicting signals that you have to build your own reading of what's happening and why nobody in the frame seems alarmed.

What the artist can never anticipate is the personal experience a viewer brings to their work. My intention is to celebrate the uniqueness of response, to empower the viewer to create their own story.

That's the shift I keep chasing in this work: away from the single fixed interpretation, toward artwork that hold several at once.
